What are the different ways to send in the photos?
We can make a slideshow from many various types of media. You can mail us your
pictures, and we will scan them in digitally. We will make a Photo CD free of charge after
completion of the scanning. Then, we will mail them back, at no additional charge, when
we mail the completed DVD.
We can also take digital pictures from CD's that are mailed to us, and we will also
return those with the completed DVD slideshow.
Pictures can also be downloaded from a storage website, or emailed to us from a service
that can support large files.
We do want pictures to be in order whether on a CD or in print form, so we know
the order for the slide show.
We are happy to work with you on the best method for receiving your pictures and
returning them to you.
What does "custom" really mean?
We truly want the show to be made exactly for you and the special occasion that it is
intended. We want you to be able to approve transitions, approve pan effects, choose
songs, choose titles, choose captions, add sounds effects, order the photos, select audio
effects, differ length of individual pictures and/or titles, and review the product for any
changes that you want to make.
What are the accepted payment methods?
We are currently accepting credit card payments and paypal payments from our
"Payments" page. Once you have sent the information about number of photos, titles,
effects, and other information, we will send you an invoice that can then be paid. After
payment is received the DVD slide show will be created.
How long does it take once I have sent my pictures and selected my
songs and/or effects?
The process we use entails us personally looking at each individual picture and creating
the movement and transition to best complement that specific picture. Music is also
cropped and faded to create the appropriate mood. Most slideshows can be created with
2-3 business days, and they will be ready for review at that point. A strong estimate will
be given prior to purchase.
Will it for play on any DVD player?
The DVD will be on a DVD+R format which is compatible with nearly all DVD players and
computers. If you are worried about compliance issues, please check with the
manufacturer of the device before purchase.
What if I only want part of a song or even just a few lines or words?
We can customize any song you would like to select just the part you feel works the best
for you. Each song title though will count towards your song number for each package.
What if I don't know of any or enough songs to use?
We have pages of suggestions that we can send you to help guide your selection. We try
to allow you to create what is best for you.
How do we send in the music?
In most cases, we will be able to locate the music you need from our library of collections.
In rare cases, we will need the CD mailed to us for a song that is more obscure or
personally recorded. Each song sent in must be the original copyrighted medium or be
accompanied with verification that you are the licensed owner under the standard
copyright laws.
What if I want something changed?
We offer a review period of 14 days after the delivery date to be contacted about the
necessary changes. After a newly created DVD has been sent or the review period has
expired, we can no longer revise the DVD.
